Wet alarm valve is a one-way valve that only allows water to flow into the sprinkler system one way and alarms under the specified flow. At ordinary times, the water pressure before and after the valve disc of the wet alarm valve is equal (the water passes through the water pressure balance hole in the guide pipe to maintain the water pressure balance before and after the valve disc).
Due to the difference between the self weight of the valve disc and the total pressure of the water before and after the valve disc, the valve disc is closed (the total pressure above the valve disc is greater than the total pressure below the valve core). In case of fire, the closed sprinkler sprays water. Because the water pressure balance hole is too late to make up water, the water pressure above the alarm valve drops. At this time, the water pressure in front of the valve disc is greater than the water pressure behind the valve disc, so the valve disc opens to supply water to the riser and pipe network. At the same time, the water enters the delay device, pressure switch, hydraulic alarm bell and other facilities along the annular groove of the alarm valve, sends a fire alarm signal and starts the fire pump.

Deluge alarm valve

Deluge alarm valve is a kind of one-way valve which is opened by electric, mechanical or other methods, so that the water can automatically flow into the sprinkler system in one direction and give an alarm at the same time.
The rated working pressure of deluge alarm valve shall not be less than 1.2MPa. When the deluge alarm valve is assembled with the equipment with lower working pressure level, the inlet and outlet joints of the valve are allowed to be processed according to the lower pressure level, but the rated working pressure must be marked on the valve.
